Privacy Policy
Breem — Last updated: August 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Breem ("we", "us", "the app") collects, how we collect and use it, and who we share it with. This policy does not replace the separate explicit permission required in the app before personal data is sent to Anthropic for AI processing.
1. Use of artificial intelligence (AI)
Breem uses third-party AI providers to generate responses. When you send a message in the app, your request is securely transmitted to our AI provider for processing.
- Who receives the data: Breem uses Anthropic PBC as its third-party AI provider. Breem currently uses the Claude Sonnet 5 model through Anthropic's Claude API. Data first passes through Breem's servers and is then sent to Anthropic for the requested AI operation.
- What is transmitted: message text and relevant chat context; images, documents and other files you attach; voice transcripts; task details you enter, which may include contact details, login information or one-time codes; and, during browser automation, URLs, relevant page content and screenshots. Basic account, device or session identifiers may be processed when needed to provide, secure or troubleshoot the service.
- Why: to understand requests, generate responses, plan and complete tasks, analyze pages during browser automation, provide account and notification features, prevent abuse and diagnose failures. Your data is never sold and is never used for advertising.
- Your consent: before your first message is sent, the app asks for your explicit agreement. You can withdraw this consent at any time; without it, no data is sent to the AI provider.
Provider privacy information: Anthropic Privacy Policy. Breem requires Anthropic to process data only to provide the requested services and to maintain privacy and security protections that are the same as or equivalent to those described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: if you sign in with Google or Apple — your name, email address and account identifier. If you continue as a guest, no personal account information is collected; a random anonymous identifier is used instead.
- Chat content: the messages, images and files you send to the assistant.
- Task data: when you ask Breem to complete a task (for example, book a place or fill out a form), the information needed to complete that task.
- Technical data: device type, app version, push-notification token, and basic diagnostic logs.
3. How we use your information
- To generate AI responses and complete the tasks you request.
- To keep your chat history in sync when you are signed in.
- To send you push notifications about the tasks you started (for example, when the assistant needs your confirmation).
- To maintain, debug and improve the app.
4. Guest mode
You can use Breem without creating an account. In guest mode we do not collect your name or email; your requests are associated with a random anonymous identifier. Guest chat history is stored only on your device. Creating an account is required only for account-based features such as syncing your chat history across devices and running long background tasks.
5. Sharing of information
We share data only with the service providers required to operate the app:
- Anthropic PBC (Claude Sonnet 5) — AI processing, response generation, task planning and page analysis.
- Google Firebase — authentication, push notifications and infrastructure.
- Websites and services you ask Breem to interact with — only the information necessary to complete the task you explicitly requested.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.
6. Data retention and deletion
Chat history is stored on your device and, when you are signed in, on our servers to enable sync. You can delete individual chats in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
7. Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS). Credentials and session data used for task automation are stored securely and used only to carry out the tasks you request.
8. Children
Breem is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
